What can be found in the "More" section of the yoummday workspace?

This article shows you which further features can be found on your yoummday workspace

Wenn du in deinem yoummday-Account angemeldet bist und in der Menü-Leiste auf der linken Seite auf den Button „Mehr“ klickst, hast du die Möglichkeit zwischen den folgenden fünf Unterpunkten auswählen:

(Click the relevant section in the platform to jump directly to it.)

What can I find in the "Downloads" section?

For telephony projects, you can make calls through the yoummday platform using either the Webphone or a SIP softphone.

Because having an alternative calling solution can be helpful in the event of technical issues, it is recommended that you set up both options from the beginning.

In the Downloads section, you can access one of the locations where you can download the software required for the SIP softphone. Detailed setup instructions can be found in the knowledge base article:

"Can I use other programs for telephony? (Softphone / Linphone)"

In addition, you can download the Firefox add-on or Chrome extension, which is required for certain outbound projects.

You only need to install this extension once you begin working on a project that requires it.

Further information can be found in:

"How does outbound calling work on the yoummday platform?"

The Downloads section also contains links to various legal documents, including:

  • Privacy information
  • Agreements and contracts
  • Consent forms
  • Instructions and information sheets

What can I find in the "Speed Test" section?

To work effectively in a project, you must have a sufficiently fast and stable internet connection.

Completing a Speed Test is required in order to complete your profile and become visible on the yoummday platform. The test evaluates the quality and speed of your internet connection.

Important: You should perform the Speed Test while physically located at your working address. This ensures the test reflects the connection you will actually use for work.

If you have multiple working addresses, you can repeat the Speed Test at each location. The platform will always display your most recent test result.

For more information, see:

"How do I check my connection speed using the Speed Test on the Talent Platform?"

What can I find in the "Security Check" section?

The Security Check is an additional security measure for Windows devices.

It verifies whether your device meets the minimum security requirements for using the platform.

The first time you perform a Security Check, selecting "Run Security Check" from your To-Dos will redirect you to this page.

Here, you can view:

  • Your current Security Check status
  • The date of the latest check
  • Any issues that caused the check to fail

If you change your computer, you can also re-download the Security Check application from this area.

For more information, see:

"What is the Security Checker?"

What can I find in the "VPN" section?

What can I find in the "VPN" section?

Some clients require the use of a Virtual Private Network (VPN).

A VPN:

  • Encrypts your internet connection
  • Hides your IP address
  • Separates project-related activities from your private network
  • Enables access to client internal systems
  • Provides an additional layer of security

Whether a VPN is required and how it should be configured will be explained during your project's onboarding or basic training.

Important

The use of a private VPN service that has not been approved by yoummday or the client is not permitted.

Using an unauthorized VPN may result in a temporary or permanent suspension of your account.
