How do I set my time zone and what does it affect?

In the toolbar at the top right of the yoummday Workspace, you can adjust your time zone based on your current location.

Your selected time zone currently affects:

Always make sure that the correct time zone is selected to avoid accidentally missing shifts or appointments.

The time zone is selected from a dropdown menu and is identified by the capital city of the respective country. You do not need to select your exact city of residence.

Once you choose a city, the corresponding local time is displayed immediately next to it.

For more details, see: "How do I adjust my time zone and what is it used for?"

Some projects require the Central European Time Zone (CET) to be set in your account.

If this requirement applies to your project, you will be informed in advance.

Where can I find my internal platform mailbox and what is it used for?

To the right of the current time and selected city (your time zone), you will find your Mailbox, which is used for internal communication on the platform.

To the right of the current time and selected city (your time zone), you will find your Mailbox, which is used for internal communication on the platform.

The mailbox works similarly to a traditional email inbox but includes only the essential features.

For example:

  • You can reply only to messages sent through the platform.
  • You cannot create folders or email rules.

Within your inbox:

  • All received messages are displayed.
  • Unread messages are highlighted with a white background.
  • Messages can be manually color-coded or deleted for better organization.
  • Conversations are grouped into threads, making it easier to follow communication history.

Examples of messages you may receive

  • Project offers (including proactive invitations without a prior application)
  • Updates regarding applications, such as approvals, rejections, or recruiter questions
  • Messages from Onboarding Managers, for example regarding address verification
  • Automated notifications, such as document verification confirmations or profile completion reminders

Can I reply to all messages?

Usually:

  • System-generated messages cannot be answered.
  • Messages sent by individuals (for example recruiters) can often be answered.

You can tell by checking whether the Reply button is active or grayed out.

If someone asks for your personal yoummday email address, you can find it in the upper-right corner of your mailbox.

Would you like to receive notifications about new platform messages in your personal email inbox?

Simply enable Email Notifications in your Account Settings.
