What is Discord?
Discord is a free chat and voice-over-IP programme originally developed for group and video chats. It is particularly popular with gamers and offers a variety of features such as the ability to send and receive text messages, conduct voice chats and share pictures, videos and files. In the meantime, Discord has become one of the most popular platforms for online communities, used all over the world.
What is the yoummday Discord server for?
The Discord server gives you the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with other talents. This way you can find talents from your country and you are never alone in your home office.
You will also find contributions to new projects and news about the yoummday platform. Live events and raffles are also planned.
How do I get onto the yoummday Discord server?
You will receive the link to the Discord server after your onboarding as a message from your onboarding manager in your account.
If you do not receive the link in your support messages, please contact us in support via the contact form at the bottom right of your profile.
How do I register on Discord?
- Click on the link to the yoummday Discord server.
- Now enter your email address and a password that you would like to use for your account. Please enter your first and last name as your user name.
- After entering your login information, please confirm that you are not a robot by solving the captcha.
- Next, you will be asked to enter a confirmation code that will be sent to the email address you provided. Enter the code and click the "Continue" button.
Now you are ready to use Discord. Please do not forget to confirm your email address by clicking on the link in the email sent to you by Discord.
The areas of the server
The welcome area
If you are new to the server, you will first see the welcome area. This area is divided into the channels #welcome, #rules and #questions.
The #welcome channel contains general information. The channel #rules contains the rules that apply on the server. For a pleasant coexistence we are grateful if you keep to these rules. In the channel #questions you can ask questions if you have not yet completed your onboarding.
As soon as your onboarding is completed and you are on the server with your registered first and last name, we can activate you for all areas. Before that, you will only see the welcome area.
The info area
You will see the info area as soon as you have completed the onboarding and have been activated. If you still cannot see it, please use the help function at the bottom right of your talent account.
In #yoummday-news you will be informed about important innovations on our platform.
The channel #event will be added as soon as the first events take place on Discord.

This section is for you.
In #memes you can post memes that you like.
To exchange with each other, you will find the different language chats #german, #dutch, #english, #italian, #french and #spanish.
#feedback is intended for concrete and constructive feedback. Because we want to get better and better for you, we take everything on board and implement what we can. Your opinion is important to us. That's why there are regular surveys and we are happy about everyone who takes part in them.
