My location is not being transmitted correctly by the yoummday app - how can I solve this?

You want to verify your location with the ymmd app, but your detected position is too far away from your specified work address? Let's take a look at why this can happen and what you can do in this case.

  1. Make sure that you are really at this location: since GPS tracking is quite accurate, it is not enough to be only near the work location you specified. If you have started the location verification from somewhere else, just do it again from the right address.
  2. Switch your phone to mobile data: many phones have trouble detecting your location correctly when you are in Wi-Fi mode. So it's best to change your data connection to mobile data once and try again.
  3. Book another address verification appointment: our onboarding team will be happy to help you if it doesn't work even with tips above. Enter a different address in your yoummday account and book a new appointment for address verification. An onboarding manager will then check what we can do for you.
  4. Write a ticket to our Talent Support: via the link https://talent.yoummday.com/supportchat you can access the support chat and simply submit a request. Our Talent Support will check the case and contact you with a solution proposal. Please make sure to explain your case in detail in the form (what do you want to do?
