The security and reliability of our platform is very important to us, both for our talents and for our clients. In this article, you will find out which documents are required and how you can upload them.
As a first step, we ask you to upload a valid ID document. This is necessary because many of our customer projects involve working with personal data. To prevent the improper use of this sensitive data, we need to confirm the authenticity of your identity.
Accepted document types are:
- Identity card
- Passport
- Driver's license
- Residence permit
Proof of address & trade license
To check the authenticity of your billing address, you will then need to upload a proof of address. If your address is not listed on your ID card, you can alternatively use a current invoice or a registration certificate. It is important that these documents are issued by a public or official body and that both the sender and recipient (your full name and the address entered in your profile) are clearly visible.
Accepted document types for proof of address:
- Bills from official bodies (water, electricity, cell phone, telephone bill)
- Registration certificate, official letter
If you are self-employed in Germany, proof of a trade license is also required to confirm that you pay tax on your income in accordance with the statutory provisions.
