When is the monthly settlement generated?
As an independent freelancer, you are responsible for invoicing your earned income.
To simplify this process, you authorize yoummday to generate credit notes (self-billing documents) on your behalf based on the information you have provided under "Invoicing & Tax Information" in your account. You can also find a sample credit note document there.
The credit note includes all earnings generated during the previous month that have already been credited to your account under Finance > Account Transactions.

From that date onward, you can access and download the document as a PDF under Finance > Credit Notes.

In some cases, previously credited amounts may require correction.
If this happens:
- A cancellation document (credit note reversal) will be generated on the 15th day of the month.
- A corrected credit note will then be issued.
- The original document becomes invalid and should no longer be used for accounting purposes.
What Information can I find in the header of the credit note document?
You can view a sample credit note in your account under "Invoicing & Tax Information."
Once generated, the actual credit note will be provided as a two-page PDF document.
Invoice recipient
Because all compensation is processed through the platform, yoummday is listed as the recipient of the invoice.
The document header contains:
- yoummday's billing address
- yoummday's tax identification details
- The credit note/invoice number

Sobald das Dokument tatsächlich generiert wurde, erhältst du eine PDF mit zwei Seiten.

Detailed breakdown by client
On the second page of the credit note document, earnings are provided in greater detail and broken down by client/project.
This is particularly useful if you have performed services under multiple contracts during the invoiced period.

Project operators are responsible for ensuring that earnings are reported and credited accurately and on time.
If you notice any discrepancies or unexpected entries in your credit note, contact your project's designated contact person immediately.
Please note that corrections affecting the current month's payout can generally only be processed within a limited timeframe and may not always be possible once payout processing has begun.
