Which types of addresses are there? How can I change them?
In this article, we briefly explain the difference between the billing address and the work address.
On our platform, you can register two types of addresses: The billing address and one or more work addresses. You always have exactly one active billing address, but you can register multiple active work addresses.
If you are currently working on a project, please also report any changes to your addresses to your TTL!
What is the billing address?
The billing address is the address to which the invoice or credit note is issued and the registered location of your company. It determines the tax and data protection regulations that apply to you based on the legal guidelines of your country.
Please note: The country of your billing address cannot be changed. If you wish to change your billing country, you must create a new account!
Do you want to update your billing address within the same country?
Then register your new address as the billing address in your account under "Address(es)" and upload a new proof of address under "Documents".
Please contact our Talent Support afterward so we can make sure to verify your new address before the next credit note is generated.
Your old billing address will become invalid, and the new billing address will appear on your credit notes from the moment of verification onwards.
Correcting already issued credit notes is not possible.
What is the work address?
The work address is the location where you perform your services - meaning your physical workplace.
Depending on the project, it may be possible to provide services from multiple work addresses. Every work address must be known and verified before you can work from there.
Do you want to add a new work address?
Then register your new address as a work address in your account under "Address(es)" and book an address verification appointment. The button to do so will show right underneath the address, after it has been added.
During the appointment, your workplace will be checked, and the location will be approved afterward.
Remember to have your mobile phone with the yoummday app ready for the required sending of your geolocation! Make sure beforehand that your phone locates you correctly so the onboarding team sees the right coordinates.
