Here you can find out what to do in case of common technical difficulties with the yoummday platform

It's pretty common. Every now and then an IT system goes on strike, it is slow or no longer leads to the known and desired results. This can also happen on the yoummday platform. If this occurs often, it is worth taking a closer look. From experience we can tell you that such technical challenges are often an issue on the user side, i.e. on your side. In this article, we will give you a few tips on what you can do in such a case. 

What do I do if the yoummday platform is often slow? 

First of all, do a speed test to find out how high the bandwidth is at your location. If it is too slow, it is advisable to contact your internet provider to clarify the issue. 

It is also important that you do not access the Internet via WLAN, but instead with a wired LAN connection. Depending on the environment, wireless networks can be disturbed completely or only temporarily. There are also different wireless protocols, not all of which offer the performance you need for working with our platform and especially telephony.

 

What do I do if the yoummday platform keeps logging me out or the navigation no longer works properly? 

From time to time, updates can cause the data stored in your cookies to become outdated and lead to errors. In such a case, first delete all cookies and empty the cache in the settings menu of your browser and try again. Choose the widest time range available. You will be surprised how often this simple way brings the desired solution.

It is also helpful to try a different browser. Our platform is designed to support as many browsers as possible, but we have had the best experience with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (Chromium browsers). Feel free to try with those as well. 

Another common source of errors are browser add-ons such as ad or tracking blockers (e.g. Ghostery, Adblock Plus, uBlock Origin). These strongly interfere with the functionality of websites and can lead to errors. If you experience any problems with our platform, it is best to turn off such browser add-ons.
