On April 1st, a change to our general terms and conditions will take effect that only affects new registrations from this date onwards (it makes no difference whether you already had another account on our platform prior to this or not).
What exactly changes as of April 1st, 2025?
For Talent accounts that are newly created starting from April 1st, 2025, a service fee of 2.9% will be charged on all payouts for Managed Service Projects. This fee is referred to as a “cash discount”. It will be deducted from the payment sum at the time of payment. You can find the link to the new and old GTC directly in the “Finance” section:
Why were the GTC changed?
It is important to us that your remuneration is always paid on time in the following month on the specified payment date - regardless of whether the client has already paid us for your services. If this day falls on a German public holiday or the weekend, the transfer will be issued directly on the next working day.
The clients you are working for often pay yoummday significantly later. Sometimes there is even a risk of non-payment for us. We anticipate these risks and cover the wait time for you. All our Talents (and Freelance TTLs) always receive their remuneration for the previous month, as it is shown in the “Finances” section, on time. This is not influenced by whether or when the customer pays yoummday.
As this payout guarantee is also associated with high costs and risks for us, we will no longer offer it free of charge for newly created accounts. Instead, we will charge a deduction of 2.9% on revenue generated in Managed Service Projects. However, the payout date will not change and the use of the platform itself will remain free of charge.
Does this change affect me?
If you created your account before April 1st, 2025, you will not be affected by these changes. Please note: If you create a new account, the new terms and conditions will also apply to this new account! If you originally joined yoummday after April 1st, these terms and conditions will apply to you from the beginning.
Will the fee be automatically deducted from the payout, or handled differently?
The 2.9% is automatically deducted in one go for all of your Managed Service Projects during the payout. The amount is noted on the credit note issued on the 4th of the month. All other payment processes remain unchanged and can be found at "When will I receive a credit note and when will it be paid out"?
What are Managed Service Projects and how can I spot them on the platform?
Managed Service Projects are jobs that are managed and supported operationally by yoummday. This means that we provide the client with recruiters, trainers, team leaders and operations managers, according to their needs. We therefore take on a more active role in the coordination and support of the project - both for the Talent and for the client.
On the platform, these projects are marked with a small yoummday icon next to the firm logo, indicating that it is a yoummday-managed project. It can usually be found in the upper right-hand corner:
Are any other types of payouts affected by this change?
No, payouts for yoummday Go / Selfservice Projects or other payments such as referral bonuses are not affected by the 2.9% deduction. These will continue to be processed without any fees.
What happens if I create a new account?
The change applies to actual registrations. This means that if you, as an already registered Talent (or Freelance-TTL) create a new account on or after the 1st of April, the new GTC will apply to you as well, as soon as you start using this new account.
Is there an alternative, such as a later payout, that doesn’t include the deduction?
Unfortunately not. Due to the amount of Talents and clients using our platform, it is not feasbile to make individual arrangements.
As the payment terms of our clients vary, we’ve already tried to simplify the process by offering a unified payout date.
Who can I contact if I have questions?
