What programs can I use for outbound calling?
To actively make customer calls, you can either use:
- A browser together with the yoummday browser extension (plugin), or
- A softphone installed on your computer.
Please note: Outbound calling is only possible if you are actively assigned to an outbound project. Without an active outbound contract, you cannot place outgoing calls through the platform.
How does outbound calling work via the browser extension? (Option 1)
Important: When using outbound calling via the browser extension, it is essential to always select the correct contact list. Otherwise, calls may be placed under the wrong project and therefore on behalf of the wrong company.
If the contacts have already been uploaded to yoummday by the client, setting up the browser extension is not required.
In the video below, you will find a step-by-step guide covering everything from setup to placing a call, showing how to make calls using Google Chrome on your PC and the yoummday browser extension.
You will find the individual steps explained in detail in the sections below.

Highlight the phone number, right-click it, and select:
"Call 'NUMBER' with yoummday"

The call will then be initiated automatically in the background, just like any other outbound call.
