The general terms and conditions of participation apply to all competitions and contests organized by Yoummday GmbH. Specific details regarding each individual competition or contest can be found below in the respective terms and conditions.
General Conditions
1.Organiser
The organiser is Yoummday GmbH, Infanteriestraße 11a, 80331 Munich, Germany (hereinafter referred to as the "Organiser")
2. General Conditions of Participation
Participation in competitions or contests organised by the organiser is subject to the following conditions:
2.1 Eligibility to participate
Only freelancers (our talents) are eligible to participate,
- who are actively working on a project for Yoummday GmbH at the time of application or have done so within the last six (6) months, and
- who have been actively involved in a project for at least three (3) months.
- Participation is only permitted for natural persons aged 18 and over.
- Valid entry to Germany without visa problems must be guaranteed for participation in possible face-to-face events.
- Employees of Yoummday GmbH and their relatives are excluded from participation.
2.2 Method of participation
Participation takes place by submitting the required documents or entries via the form provided for the respective competition/contest on the organiser's platform.
2.3 Exclusion from the competition
The organiser reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition if there are justified reasons, in particular in the event of violations of the conditions of participation, manipulation or false information.
2.4 Data protection
The personal data transmitted in the course of participation will be processed exclusively for the purpose of organising the competition. For further information, see the organiser's privacy policy (inserted below with the respective initiative).
3. Copyrights and rights of use
3.1 Submitted content
By submitting text and video contributions, participants agree that:

- the content can be saved for selection and deleted if necessary (after the end of the competition).
- Name, age and approximate place of residence may be used to introduce the winners.
3.2 Use of produced content
The texts, photos and videos produced as part of competitions or events are used by the organiser for editorial and advertising purposes on its own website and on its own social media channels (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok).
3.3 Extended use
If submitted videos are of such high quality that they can be used directly for advertising campaigns, the organiser will contact the participants on a case-by-case basis and obtain separate consent for use on external channels such as Meta Ads, Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Audience Network, TikTok .
4. Disclaimer
The organiser is not liable for technical faults, loss of data or access problems during the submission or processing of entries, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
5. Final provisions
The organiser reserves the right to terminate or adjust the competition prematurely in whole or in part for important reasons (e.g. technical problems, legal changes).
The place of jurisdiction is Munich, Germany. The laws of Germany shall apply.

Specific Conditions for Each Competition/Contest
Each competition or contest is subject to additional specific conditions, which apply alongside the general terms and conditions of participation.
"Community Days 2025" - Conditions of Participation
1. Subject of the Competition
We are looking for freelancers/talents who report on their experiences of working with yoummday - in particular on their specific experiences in the respective projects of Yoummday GmbH.
2. Competition Period and Procedure
- Application phase: 11.06.2025 - 30.06.2025
- Contact with selected candidates: by 17th of July 2025 at the latest
- Feedback deadline: within two (2) weeks of making contact, but no later than 31 July 2025
3. Participation Requirements and Submissions
Participants must submit the following documents in full:
- Fully completed form with answers to the mandatory questions in German or English.
- Optional: A mobile phone video (format: portrait format, mp4/mov/3gp, 30-60 seconds, 100MB data upload ) with authentic answers to given questions.
- The videos are intended to give a first impression of the motivation.
The selected participants win:
- Invitation to the "Community Days" from 25-26 September 2025 - in Munich included:
- 1 overnight stay with catering
- Travel up to a maximum value of EUR 600
- Creative workshops, content production, networking
- Visit to the Oktoberfest incl. snack & 2 drink tokens
- Transfers in Munich
Legal recourse is excluded.

IV) Purposes and legal bases of processing
Your personal data will be processed to organize the "Community Days 2025" contest and to promote our company.
This means in detail:
- Your video will be submitted to us by you and will only be viewed internally.
- After the evaluation, we will contact you in case of a positive decision.
- If we select your video, we will contact you to produce another video with you as described in the conditions of participation.
- If you consent to this, we will also consider your originally submitted video for further social media use.
We process your data on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Your rights in connection with data processing by us can also be found in detail in VII.

Within our company, those offices and departments receive the personal data that they need to fulfil the purpose stated in IV.

We have concluded a DPA (data processing agreement) with the service providers in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. If a transfer to a third country takes place, we take additional measures within the meaning of Art. 44 ff GDPR, for example in the form of standard contractual clauses.
In addition, we use our website join.yoummday.com to publish the recordings. The hosting provider of our website is IONOS by 1&1 SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. Data protection information: Privacy Policy - IONOS Terms and Conditions.
When publishing on the Internet, it cannot be ruled out that the recordings may also reach third countries.
VI) Duration of storage
The data will be deleted when it is no longer required for the above-mentioned purposes (invitation to the Community Days), but after 12 months at the latest. Videos that are not shortlisted and are not considered for further social media publication will be deleted immediately after the end of the competition/contest. Videos that we publish on social media will be deleted when they are no longer required for this purpose.
If you revoke your consent, we will delete the relevant photos and video recordings immediately upon receipt of your revocation.
Please note that information posted on the Internet, including images and film recordings, may be copied and further processed. This may mean that information published on the Internet can still be found elsewhere even after it has been deleted from the website on which it was originally published.
VII) Your rights
You have the right to assert your data subject rights under Articles 15-21 GDPR at any time.
Right to information in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR
You have the right to request confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed; if this is the case, you have the right to information about this personal data in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR.
Right to rectification in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR
You have the right to obtain without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, you also have the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including by means of providing a supplementary statement.
Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR
In accordance with Art. 17 para. 3 GDPR, you have the right to demand that personal data concerning you be deleted immediately.
Right to restriction of processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR
You have the right to request the restriction of processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR.
Right to notification in accordance with Art. 19 GDPR
The controller shall communicate any rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing carried out in accordance with Article 16, Article 17(1) and Article 18 to each recipient to whom the personal data have been disclosed, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort.
